Train-the-trainers courses
Train-the-trainers courses offer good cost
effectiveness for organisations and are
therefore very popular.
They also enable an organisation to be
responsible for their own staff training and the
frequency and structure of this.
WARRN maintains a role in the training via:
(a) Provision of all training materials, which
are current and grounded in the available
evidence-based practice;
(b) Initial training of staff who will become
trainers;
(c) Conducting the train-the-trainers
programme;
(d) Monitoring of training quality and fidelity
by the trainers in each organisation;
(e) Updating of course materials and regular
reviews of the evidence-base.
WARRN currently provides train-the-trainer
courses for the 'difficult questions and risk
formulation' course.
